Discuss West Penn Allegheny Health System narrows operating losses The five-hospital core of the Allegheny Health Network on Wednesday reported narrowed operating losses for the three- and six-month periods ending Dec. 31 when compared to the same time a year ago. Health insurer Highmark Inc. acquired the network a year ago.
